NRL Round 15 odds, title update and schedule; Panthers back to full strength
NRL Round 15 starts on Thursday, June 17, with the Brisbane Broncos hosting Souths at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. We take an early look at the week ahead in the NRL.
Team can take a breath after the first Origin game interfered with the NRL for the past fortnight, with Penrith dropping two games after starting the season with 12 straight wins.

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary elected to rest most of his Origin stars and they fell to a field goal against the Sharks. But they will want to quickly get their season back on track when they take on Sydney Roosters in the match of the round on Friday night at BlueBet Stadium, Penrith.
Bookies think they will return to the winners list against the injury-riddled but gutsy Roosters, who won their match against Gold Coast thanks to a late try then a field goal from young half Sam Walker.
Penrith are as short as $1.28 against a Roosters team against whom they have won three of their past four meetings. The Roosters need a win to stay in touch with the top four as the second half of the season begins.
Elsewhere, the seventh-placed Cowboys have a chance to put a gap on the ninth-placed Sharks in the earlier match on Friday night.
The Storm have won 11 matches straight and should continue on their winning way when they play the West Tigers at their home away from home at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday night.
Melbourne have now moved to the top of the ladder and are not as badly affected by Origin call-ups given their strong international flavour, led by a powerful Kiwis contingent.
It’s last roll of the dice time for Gold Cooast when they host Manly in the final match of the round on Sunday, with the highly spruiked Titans languishing in 12th spot on the table with only five wins from 14 games this season.
NRL Premiership odds before Round 15
Penrith have held on to favouritism to land the title, despite losing their second match in a row. Of course they had a valid excuse with seven of their best players on Origin duty, but the Panthers have eased from $2.70 to $2.80 in title betting with TopSport.
Melbourne Storm continue their relentless climb and were $3.30 to $3.20 after yet another convincing win, while the Roosters were $12 to $10 after their fortunate escape against the Titans.
Manly finally showed they can turn on the style without Tom Trbejovic and they firmed from $20 to $14 after demolishing the Cowboys 50-18.
Canberra are out to $81 despite beating the lowly Broncos, while the Titans are all but done and were $61 to $151 with leading bookmakers.
