CFL Most Outstanding Player Award winners

At the conclusion of the Canadian Football League season the Most Outstanding Player Award is issued, with many of the biggest names in the competition on the honour roll. Why is it sometimes referred to as the Schenley Award?

The Most Outstanding Player Award was first won in 1953 with it called the Schenley Award, with it named after the Schenley Distillers Corporation, an association it continued until 1988.

The award has since been renamed the CFL George Reed Most Outstanding Player Award, in honour of the legendary Roughrider George Reed, who passed away in October 2023.
