CFL Most Outstanding Player Award winners

Why is it sometimes referred to as the Schenley Award?
The Most Outstanding Player Award was first won in 1953 with it called the Schenley Award, with it named after the Schenley Distillers Corporation, an association it continued until 1988.
The award has since been renamed the CFL George Reed Most Outstanding Player Award, in honour of the legendary Roughrider George Reed, who passed away in October 2023.

Collaros defeated Montreal Alouettes running back William Stanback, who was the East finalist in a glittering ceremony in Hamilton. Collaros was the star of the show as the Bombers went 11-3, throwing 3185 yards on 243-for-346 passing. Collaros also scored 20 touchdowns and six interceptions in his 13 games.
