HighRoller.com strikes deal with Playtech, set to enter Ontario iGaming market

High Roller Casino will enter the Ontario iGaming market after seeking licensing earlier this year and striking a deal with games provider Playtech.

The strategic partnership between HighRoller.com and Playtech means the gambling website will be powered by their award-winning software.

CEO at HighRoller.con Ben Clemes said the decision to partner with Playtech was a no-brainer.

“Collaborating with Playtech in Ontario is an exciting step for High Roller as we continue to grow and evolve,” he said.

“Playtech’s well-established technology will be instrumental to our mission of providing a world-class entertainment experience for our players.”

Ontario, since making iGaming legal in 2022, has shown rapid growth in the industry and it is now regarded as one of the brightest regulated markets in the world.

The industry turned over  more than $2.3billion in gross gaming revenue in 2024, with further growth reported in the first half of 2025.

The Canadian regulated gambling space is expected to continue to grow int he coming months and years as more provinces enter the fray, with Alberta expected to be next, either late this year, or early in 2026.

For Playtech, partnering with a well-respected brand like HighRoller.com gives them further visibility in the Canadian market.

“We are delighted to partner with High Roller as they expand into Ontario,” Playtech’s Chief Revenue Officer Sergey Harutynunyan said.

“Playtech’s technology is designed to support operators in regulated markets, and we look forward to working together to provide High Roller’s players with safe, innovative, and engaging gaming experiences.”

Clemes said the opportunity to enter Canada via Ontario and continue to expand was too big to pass up.

“Ontario is missing an elegant brand like High Roller,” he said.

“We’re excited to roll out the red carpet for our new customers, and we’re looking forward to showcasing our tremendous product.”

Clemes believes HighRoller.com will be live in Ontario in the second-half of this year.
