1xBet strike sponsorship deal with top Ecuadorian football team
1xBet has been named as a key sponsor for top Ecuadorian football team Independiente del Valle, with the deal set to run until 2028.
The reigning champion and global betting brand launched the partnership with the slogan “Un Club Diferente, Una Apuesa Distinta. Multiplica el juego” which means “A Different Club, A Different Bet. Multiply the game”.
“We are glad to see Independiente del Valle among clubs that share our values and ambitions,” a 1xBet spokesman said.

“It’s a strong project with a fast-growing fan base, focused on integral youth development, innovation, tactical training, data analysis, and long-term planning.
“Our company wants to support the club’s growth and give Ecuadorian fans even more exciting moments.”
Independiente del Valle was founded in Sangolquí, a valley near Quito. The team reached Ecuador’s top division for the first time in the 2009/10 season, and its first big success came 10 years ago.
On the way to the Copa Libertadores final, Independiente del Valle beat River Plate and Boca Juniors, earning the nickname El Mata Gigantes (the Giant-Killer).
Since 2019, Independiente del Valle has claimed the LigaPro Serie A twice (2021 and 2025), the Copa Ecuador (2022), and the Supercopa Ecuador (2023). Internationally, the team won the Copa Sudamericana twice (2019 and 2022) and the Recopa Sudamericana in 2023.
El Mata Gigantes plays at the modern Estadio Banco Guayaquil, opened in 2021, with a capacity of 12,000 fans. As part of the partnership, 1xBet will have a strong presence across all key segments of the club’s ecosystem.
1xBet’s logo will appear on the team’s match and training jerseys, as well as on the home stadium’s LED panels and the club’s digital platforms. 1xBet (1xBet review) also plans fan activities, including a special area near the stadium’s main entrance, as well as contests with ticket and merchandise giveaways.
