Durbanville racing tips for March 25

Race 1: HOLLYWOODBETS DURBANVILLE WELCOMES YOU
SNOW BIRD (1) found betting support on debut when finishing just under three lengths behind Shezaripper on 22 February. She is a well-bred filly with plenty of ability, and with natural improvement expected, she should go close to winning from a good draw.
PREACHER MAN (5) has produced two fair runs in succession, with the form of her last start holding up well. She should settle just off the speed and will be staying on strongly late.
LUCY’S WORLD (3) finished just over eight lengths behind Grapes Of Wrath on debut. She can improve significantly from that run and should be monitored closely from a neat draw.
This is a competitive race with several well-bred first starters, so keep a close eye on the market for late confidence.

Race 2: LUCKY FISH PLINKO MAIDEN PLATE (F & M)
FUTURE RED (8) ran an excellent race on debut when finishing second behind Ebisu. She was very green that day and, despite a wide draw, the step up to 1400m should suit. With some luck in running, she can go close.
RARE EARTH (1) finished strongly in the same race and now gets a much better draw. On her best form, she is a major contender.
THELEIA (7) was given every chance last time but lacked a finishing kick. If she improves late, she could sneak into the placings from a tricky draw.
HAZEL GREEN (4) is ultra-consistent and should be included in all bets.

Race 3: REEVES RACING SYNDICATE CLASS 5
KLEIN KAROO (4) won well on 11 February and, although this is tougher, he should be finishing strongly and can win again.
DISTRICT MASTER (8) impressed when winning out of the maidens and looks capable of being competitive again if he overcomes the draw.
DEVIL A SAINT (7) comes from stronger form lines and could represent value in an open race.
AVIGNON (6) showed a sharp turn of foot last time and could feature if he sees out the trip.

Race 4: RACE COAST INCENTIVES BY HOLLYWOODBETS
THE NIGHT FERRY (1) ran well last start, drops in the ratings and benefits from an apprentice claim. He should run a big race from a good draw.
MIDWAY (2) is better than his last run suggests and can bounce back in a moderate field despite the step up in trip.
BEAUTIFUL SIDE (4) has dropped further in the ratings and is capable of winning on her best form.
MY BESTIE (6) needs to improve but can sneak into the placings if producing a better effort.

Race 5: VHM RACING SYNDICATE C STAKES
TOTHEMOONANDBACK (2) impressed with a strong win last time and looks well suited again. From a good draw, he will be hard to beat.
GENTLEMAN JOE (7) is the class runner but must overcome a big weight over a staying trip. He should still be right in the finish.
FORT LIAM (4) won his maiden well and should appreciate the rise in distance.
TWICE THE MASTER (3) is consistent and could sneak into the placings with a light weight.

Race 6: LUCKY FISH AVIATOR CLASS 5 (F & M)
MIGHTY MARY (4) finished powerfully to win last time and is in excellent form. Despite a tougher task at the weights, she can win again.
GIVEN TO FLY (3) was narrowly beaten by Mighty Mary and has strong winning claims from a good draw.
VIVO PER LEI (5) broke through last start and, although this is tougher, she can be competitive again.
ELUSIVE GIFT (1) disappointed last time but drops in the ratings and could improve sharply.

Race 7: HOLLYWOODBETS BRIGHT FUTURE CLASS 4
PRAIRIE DAWN (3) had no luck last time but finished strongly. He looks a smart type and will be hard to beat from a good draw.
SHOW OFF (8) should strip fitter after his recent run and can be competitive if he gets clear running.
SIGNOR DANTE (6) has strong form lines and should appreciate the drop in trip. Include him in all bets.
COUNT WILLIAM (10) returns from a break and can be dangerous if allowed to dictate.
