Every Matrix gets approval to operate in South Africa

EveryMatrix has secured formal approval to supply its turnkey platform technology in South Africa, marking a significant regulatory milestone for the tier-1 provider as it expands its footprint across the African iGaming market.

EveryMatrix South Africa (EMSA) has obtained a manufacturer’s licence from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, authorising the company to deliver its modular and turnkey products to licensed operators.

The approval allows EveryMatrix to provide its full technology suite, including sports betting, casino, player account management (PAM), payments, and affiliate management solutions.

EveryMatrix Managing Director in Africa Mark Schmidt said the entry into South Africa was an important milestone for the company, and hinted there was already deals in place to partner up with major gambling sites in South Africa.

“Bringing our full suite of turnkey platform products into South Africa under our new licence is enabling us to power some of the biggest brands here, giving them access to technology that will instantly unlock their potential and drive market growth,” he said.

“In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be announcing some major deals so watch this space.

“Our casino, sports, PAM, payments, games and content aggregation and affiliate management solutions, supported by our local experts who understand their needs and challenges are providing an offering no one else has been able to offer so far in South Africa and across the continent.”

The development strengthens EveryMatrix’s position in one of Africa’s most established regulated gambling jurisdictions. The Western Cape is home to several major licensed operators, including Betway (Betway.co.za review) and HollywoodBets (HollywoodBets review), underscoring the commercial significance of the approval.

EveryMatrix has steadily expanded across the continent in recent years through partnerships with local brands, while additional customer launches are expected in the coming months.

The company’s acquisition of FSB Technology has further enhanced its access to South Africa and other regulated African markets, supporting its broader growth strategy.
