Fennica Gaming enters Canada after deal with Loto-Quebec
Fennica Gaming has secured a key plank of its international expansion, announcing they have struck a deal to launch their casino games in Quebec, with Loto-Quebec’s EspaceJeux.com set to house their games moving forward.
Loto-Quebec is the only legal gambling platform in this Canadian province, although many offshore online gambling sites accept players from here, with no action taken to stamp out these overseas operators.
Despite this Fennica Gaming, which is part of the Veikkaus Group, and Loto-Quebec Casino have struck the deal, which will see their casino games, including online slots, video poker and eInstants available in Canada for the first time.

Fennica Gaming quickly heralded the push into Canada as a big milestone for the iGaming development company, with this new territory added to Sweden, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Spain and Denmark as countries they are live in.

The technical team at Fennica Gaming said the integration into EspaceJeux Casino’s existing website went smoothly, and paid tribute to the professionalism of their team.
“The technical integration, game development, localization, certification, releasing and UAT processes went smoothly,” Senior Vice President of Portfolio and Product Development at Fennica Gaming Kirsi Lagus said.
“We worked closely with Loto-Québec to ensure compliance with local regulations and to meet the highest standards of quality.

Quebec, like most of Canada (barring Ontario), has very lax laws surrounding online casinos and sports betting, with very little done by authorities to stamp out offshore gambling sites, meaning it is thriving.
