iGaming Ontario releases financials for November. 2025

iGaming Ontario has released its November 2025 market report, showing steady but measured growth across the province’s regulated online gambling sector.

Total cash wagers for the month reached $9.33 billion, while non-adjusted gross gaming revenue (NAGGR) climbed to $406.2 million. The regulator also reported 1.297 million active player accounts, alongside an average revenue per paying account (ARPPA) of $313, pointing to stronger monetisation across licensed ON gambling sites.

Month-on-month data indicates that betting activity rose by 1 per cent, while NAGGR increased by 10 per cent compared with October. Active accounts also edged higher by 1 per cent, suggesting continued engagement rather than short-term spikes in play.

Casinos remained the dominant vertical, accounting for approximately 85 per cent of all wagers. Casino cash bets totalled $7.95 billion, generating $298 million in NAGGR, a slight decline of 2 per cent from the previous month.

Sports betting, however, recorded a sharp rebound. Wagering volume reached $1.253 billion, up 2 per cent, while betting NAGGR surged 75 per cent month on month to $102 million, lifting its share of total revenue to 25 per cent.

Peer-to-peer online poker continued to represent the smallest segment, with $129 million in wagers and $6.3 million in NAGGR.

Looking at the 2025–26 financial year to date, total cash bets have grown by nearly 20 per cent since April, while NAGGR has risen by close to 30 per cent. The data suggests that although online casino wagering continues to dominate volumes, recent revenue growth is increasingly driven by improved betting margins and higher returns per active account.

Recently iGaming Ontario revealed it was considering cross-province or cross border deals where player pools would be shared for things like online poker and progressive jackpot slots games.
