Irish EuroMillions lottery player wins life-changing money
An Irish lottery player has won the EuroMillions for the second time this year, with their Christmas wishes coming early.
Ireland’s National Lottery confirmed that a ticket holder from County Cavan in the Ulster region matched all seven numbers in the Friday, December 12 draw to claim a jackpot worth approximately €17 million. The winning numbers were 7, 25, 30, 37 and 41, with Lucky Stars 5 and 11.
The latest win marks Ireland’s 21st EuroMillions jackpot since the game launched in 2004. The country went almost three years without a winner before a record €250 million prize was claimed in June 2025.

Under Irish lottery rules, the player has until March 12, 2026 to claim the prize and may choose to remain anonymous.
More than 42,000 other Irish tickets also won prizes in the draw.
