Playtech pushes into Connecticut with online slots and live games
Playtech has officially expanded into Connecticut, marking its entry into a sixth regulated US iGaming market as the supplier continues its steady American growth push.
The company was recently granted an Online Gaming Service Provider licence by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, allowing it to partner with licensed operators and roll out its content across the state.

Connecticut first regulated online casino gaming in October 2021, launching with a limited, tightly controlled market that has since shown consistent growth.
Playtech General Manager in the USA Jonathan Doubilet said the push into Connecticut was further proof the company provided a high-class platform to their customers.
“We are thrilled to expand our presence into a sixth U.S. state,” he said.
“Connecticut is a well-established iGaming market with a vast player-base that we anticipate will engage strongly with our first-class offering.

Playtech’s latest move follows its entry into Delaware in late 2025 and reflects a broader strategy to establish a presence across all regulated gambling jurisdictions in the USA. The timing of the licence aligns with rising demand for diverse, high-quality casino content in maturing state markets.
For players in Connecticut, the expansion means access to Playtech’s portfolio of online slots and live casino titles, including popular releases such as Age of the Gods, Buffalo Blitz and a suite of branded and bespoke games tailored to U.S. audiences.
