Storm v Panthers preliminary final preview, free betting tips

Welcome to our Manly-North Queensland match preview, prediction and odds update for their NRL clash at Lottoloand on Friday, June 11.

Manly head into this match as short-priced favourites at home and deservedly so as they have turned their season around after a dismal start, mainly thanks to the return from injury of NSW Blues star Tom Trbojevic.

This match comes in the wake of Wednesday night’s resounding State of Origin win for the Blues, in which the Trbejovic brothers were key players. Tom Trbojevic won’t back up and that is a warning sign for the Sea Eagles, who started the season 0-4 without him.

Also, it should not be forgotten that the Cowboys started the season in an identical fashion and have also fought their way back. IN fact, both teams now stand at 6-6 as we heading into the second half of the season so this match is vital for both teams as they sit in sixth and seventh place on the table respectively.

Manly have won three of the past four meetings between these teams and won their only clash in 2020, polayed in Townsville, 24-12.

Sea Eagles v Cowboys team news for round 14

The biggest out is, of course, Tom Trbojevic, but the Sea Eagles regain Dylan Walker after a hamstring issue and he slots straight in at No.1, with promising youngster Cade Cust being added to the bench. They also get back veteran five-eighth Kieran Foran after he recovered from a hand injury.

The Sea Eagles have two players back up from Origin in Maroons skipper Daly Cherry-Evans and Blues prop Jake Trbejovic, though it’s worth checking that close to game time.

The Cowboys will lose Maroons winger Kyle Feldt, but regain veteran Justin O’Neill. They also get powerhouse forward Jason Taumalolo back from suspension.

Sea Eagles v Cowboys free betting tips

Our NRL betting expert has highlighted his free tips for Friday’s game.

Cowboys +6.5 point/over 48.5 points

This is a real banana skin of a game for the Sea Eagles. They have some battered players in their ranks and just don’t look the same team without Turbo Tom at the back. The Cowboys have some real spirit under Todd Payten. This option is under alternate lines at TopSport.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to score a try

The Cowboys flyer is playing centre but could be pushed out to the wing for this match, or even fullback with Val Holmes backing up from Origin. Tabuai-Fidow has had an injury interrupted season but has manage four tries in only six games. He will be a real threat here.

Manly Sea Eagles v NQ Cowboys prediction 11-6-2021

We expect this one to go down to the wire. The Sea Eagles without Tom Trbejovic have been pretty ordinary this season and there is a chance they will fall back into that funk. Being at home helps but we just like the moment the Cowboys are building and they look more than a match for another mid-table type of team. Our Sea Eagles v Cowboys prediction: Cowboys to win by 4 points.
