Ararat horse racing track
The Ararat horse racing track is the only venue of its kind in the Victorian town of Ararat.
The Wimmera Racing Club took control of the Ararat track in 1998 with an eye to helping it survive after a troubled period.
The track is renowned for its long sweeping turns while it has also claimed many victims who have suffered a wide draw, with the 1000m start proving difficult.
Most international horse racing betting sites will accept wagers on the Ararat races when they are on, with these meetings generally TAB-endorsed in Australia.
