Bangladesh v India betting preview, tips and odds, T20 Women’s World Cup
Bangladesh are rated rank $9 outsiders in betting against India as they play their first match at the T20 Women’s World Cup in Perth.
India are, of course, fresh off a win against tournament favourites and hosts Australia and deserve favouritism, but we think the bookmakers have been a little extreme in their assessment.
Bangladesh have beaten the India women’s team at the their past two meetings, including in the final of the 2019 Asian Cup.
While things have changed significantly since then and we expect India to win the match, the odds are ridiculous, even considering the Bangladeshi women may struggle with the bouncy WACA Ground pitch.
This Bangladesh v India match is the second match of a double-header in Perth, with Australia battling to stay in the tournament contention in the first match against Sri Lanka.
The Women’s T20 World Cup is only a few days old and already we have had a huge upset and a couple of outstanding individual performances.
Below we will examine Bangladesh v India odds, best bets, predictions and free tips ahead of Monday night’s clash in Perth.

Bangladesh v India T20 W World Cup best bets
We have looked at recent matches and the most recent clashes between the teams to find some bets to add a little spice to this clash if you are watching. Check out how we have done with our T20 Women’s World Cup tips.
Poonam Yadav most wickets for India
Yes, we know this match is in Perth on one of the fastest wickets in the country but the way in which the wily leggie ripped through the star-studded Australian batting line-up was incredible. Her confidence will be soaring and we think she’s on her way to being the leading wicket-taker in the tournament.
Rumana Ahmed in batting and bowling
The all-rounder just loves playing India. Ahmed was player of the match in both matches against the powerful Indians at the 2018 Asian Cup. She did well in both matches with both bat and with leg-spin of her own. Definitely a player to watch in this clash.
Bangladesh v India winner prediction T20 Women’s World Cup
India are riding high and have the benefit of plenty of high-quality lead-up matches on Australian soil. We think they simply have too much depth to fall victim to an upset here, but the odds are way out of kilter so they cannot by backed at $1.06. We think it’s match in which the underdogs have a slight chance but will stick to the player markets. Good punting.
