England v West Indies predictions, best bets and tips, T20 World Cup Women’s betting
This is the WGL’s England v West Indies tips and odds update for the T20 World Cup Women’s clash at Sydney Showground Stadium on Sunday, March 1.
The England v West Indies clash is the second match in a double-header in Sydney, following the Pakistan-South Africa clash.
England have bounced back superbly from their first-up loss to South Africa, but the fact remains that under this T20 tournament format, a loss against the West Indies would almost certainly end their tournament,
The good news for England is that their good players have struck form. Heather Knight and, in particular, Nat Sciver have been outstanding and are the players the Windies must quell to have a chance here.
For their part the West Indies will go in with confidence against a team they have beaten eight times in 16 T20 Internationals, with seven losses and one tie.
That record would indicate that the match won’t be as one-sided as the sportsbooks, which have England at $1.14 favourites, expect.

England v West Indies betting tips
Total match sixes West Indies over 2.5
Win, lose or draw the Windies have plenty of batters with the power to clear the ropes. They must win this match to have a chance of advancing in the tournament and there is every chance they will go down swinging. A strange bet no doubt but one that seems good value at $2.50 with William Hill.
Nat Sciver player of the match
Odds around $4 are available for this option. That’s fairly short but Sciver is a star player and is in sparkling form with bat and ball. We believe she is the key to England’s chances of winning this tournament,
England v West Indies predictions – 1/3/2020
We can’t get involved on England winning at such skinny odds. The West Indies are not what they were but it should not be forgotten they are packed with talent and experience. Should be a good one for the neutral fan to watch.
