Women’s World Cup 2019 odds and super fixture for quarter-finals
The FIFA Women’s World Cup quarter-final draw has been completed, and leading betting sites have released the odds for the knockout fixtures.
The USA remain favourite to win the tournament, but the ultra-impressive Germany are also heavily in contention.
We examine the four Women’s World Cup quarter-final fixtures and odds and give quick predictions for each of the four matches. The World Gambling List will preview each game in the coming days.
Norway vs England
Venue: Stade Oceane
Kick off: 9pm, Thursday, June 27
Odds (WDW): Norway (3.60), Draw (3.30), England (2.10)
Quick prediction: We think England will win, but Norway are not without a strong chance. The 1995 champions are building nicely at this World Cup and did beat the powerful Australian team. England basically had a walkover against the disgraceful Cameroon team. Read our full predictions for Norway vs England.
France vs USA
Venue: Parc des Princess
Kick off: 9pm, Friday, June 28.
Odds (WDW) France (3.20), Draw (3.25), USA
Quick prediction: The USA look to have too much talent in this match, although the French will have a parochial home crowd behind them. As the only non-European team still left in the tournament, the USA have a lot to play for. Read our full France vs USA prediction.
Italy vs Netherlands
Venue: Stade du Hainaut
Kick off: 1pm, Saturday, June 29
Odds (WDW) Italy (3.40), Draw (3.30), Netherlands (2.10)
Quick prediction: The Netherlands have been the breakout team of the tournament and we think their magical run will continue here into their first ever semi-final. If the Italians win it will be their first quarter-final win since 1991. Read our full predictions for Italy vs Netherlands.
Germany vs Sweden
Venue: Stade de la Route de Lorient
Kick off: 6.30pm, Saturday, June 29
Odds (WDW): Germany (1.67), Draw 3.50, Sweden (5.00)
Quick prediction: Germany have too much talent right across the park for the Swedes. But they will be wary of letting Fridolina Rolfo off the hook. Read our full Germany vs Sweden predictions article.
