Playson games now available at WorldSportsbetting South Africa

South African bookmaker World Sports Betting (WSB) is expanding its online casino offering with three new slot games from international developer Playson, with more titles expected to follow.

The agreement will see WSB introduce Coin Strike: Hold and Win, Thunder Coins: Hold and Win and Thunder Coins XXL: Hold and Win to its casino platform.

The games will be introduced gradually, giving South African customers access to another selection of Playson’s popular Hold and Win slots.

Ryno du Plessis, Chief Operating Officer at World Sports Betting, welcomed the additions.

“We are pleased to be adding Playson’s content to our casino offering, giving our players access to a proven selection of top-performing titles,” du Plessis said.

“World Sports Betting is committed to delivering first-in-class entertainment experiences, and this integration doubles down on that company focus as we continue to lead the way for iGaming across South Africa.”

The three new games feature Playson’s Hold and Win format, which typically allows players to trigger bonus rounds featuring cash-value symbols and respins.

During these features, players attempt to collect additional symbols before their remaining respins expire, with prizes determined by the values accumulated during the round.

The new releases will expand WSB’s existing slot catalogue, which already includes several Playson games.

In a March 2026 roundup of its leading slot titles, World Sports Betting highlighted Playson releases including Wolf Power Hold and Win, Royal Coins Hold and Win, Diamond Fortunator Hold and Win and Hot Coins Hold and Win.

The latest additions will be delivered through Light & Wonder’s gaming platform, which distributes casino content from multiple international developers.

The agreement follows a similar partnership between Playson and Hollywoodbets in July 2026, when the South African bookmaker added six titles from the developer’s Hold and Win portfolio.

That earlier rollout included the same three games now being introduced at World Sports Betting, alongside Diamonds Power, Energy Coins and 3 Carts of Gold.

Playson Sales Director Blanka Homor said the company was pleased to extend its relationship with South African operators.

“World Sports Betting is a leading name in the South African market, making this a valuable partnership as we continue to expand our presence across the region,” Homor said.

“Our Hold and Win portfolio has resonated strongly in regulated markets throughout the continent, and we look forward to providing new players with an enriched gaming experience, driven by compelling mechanics and data-driven insights.”

Neither company has confirmed when the full selection of new games will become available or identified which additional Playson titles will be introduced.

The announcement also did not mention any launch promotions or free spins offers associated with the new releases.

WSB customers can check the operator’s casino section for the availability of the new Playson games as the rollout progresses.
