Greentube releases Piggy Prizes Ghost of Gambini online slot
Greentube has released Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini, a new Halloween-themed online slot featuring 15 independently spinning reels, 40 paylines and two bonus games offering cash prizes and jackpots.
The latest addition to Greentube’s Piggy Prizes series introduces a haunted mansion setting, with magician Gambini joined by a ghostly version of himself that can unlock additional prizes and activate an enhanced bonus round.
The game is now available to Greentube’s casino operator partners, with its arrival at individual online casinos dependent on local licensing and operator agreements.
Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini retains the established series’ cash-collection mechanics but introduces several new features designed to increase the frequency of special events during gameplay.
The online slot uses 15 individual reels arranged in a five-column, three-row layout, with each position spinning independently rather than as part of a conventional reel strip.
Two special characters, Gambini and the Ghost of Gambini, appear on the centre reel and act as Wild symbols while also unlocking Coin and Jackpot prizes displayed elsewhere on the screen.
The Ghost of Gambini introduces an additional mechanic that can place new coins and jackpots onto the reels or increase the value of existing coin prizes.
Greentube, which is owned by Novomatic, has also included two features called Magic Spin and Magic Rewind.
Magic Spin can activate randomly at the beginning of a round, stopping the centre reel first to reveal one of the two magician symbols.
Magic Rewind, meanwhile, can move the centre reel or selected non-winning symbols backwards to reveal Gambini, his ghost or additional locked jackpot prizes.
The game’s main bonus features revolve around two piggy banks positioned above the reels.
When Gambini appears, he can feed coins into either piggy bank. Once a bank reaches its maximum size, it bursts and activates the Lock & Spin feature.
The bonus begins with three spins when one piggy bank bursts, increasing to four spins when both are activated.
During Lock & Spin, White and Gold Ghost symbols can appear, creating prize frames that progress through Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
At the conclusion of the feature, these frames reveal cash prizes or jackpots awarded to the player.
The Ghost of Gambini can trigger a more powerful version of the bonus called Super Lock & Spin.
Unlike the standard feature, Super Lock & Spin only uses Gold Ghost symbols, which create Gold frames that convert into jackpot prizes when the round ends.
The feature also begins with three or four spins, depending on whether one or both piggy banks have been activated.
Greentube has included an optional Buy Bonus feature, allowing eligible players to purchase direct access to bonus gameplay. However, the feature is restricted to jurisdictions where local gambling regulations permit bonus purchases.
The new release has been assigned a medium volatility rating of three out of five and is compatible with desktop and mobile devices through Greentube’s NovoSDK technology.
Greentube, the digital gaming division of NOVOMATIC, has continued expanding its online slot catalogue through established franchises, including Piggy Prizes, Diamond Link and Book of Ra.
Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini builds on that approach by introducing new bonus mechanics to an existing game series, with the Halloween setting providing a seasonal theme for the latest release.
The iGaming developer has not disclosed the game’s theoretical return-to-player percentage or maximum win in the supplied launch information.
