G Games drops multiplayer slot for Mexican audience
Codere Online has partnered with casino games developer G Games to introduce 99 Royale, a multiplayer online slot that allows up to 99 players to compete against one another in real time.
The game is being launched initially through Codere Online’s Mexican casino platform, with the gambling operator named among its first global launch partners.
Unlike conventional online slots, where players compete against a game’s mathematical payout structure independently, 99 Royale introduces competitive mechanics influenced by multiplayer video games.
Winning spins generate power that players can use to improve their own position or attack opponents, creating a shared contest alongside the underlying slot gameplay.
G Games describes the product as a battle royale-style casino game, borrowing elements from esports gaming formats popularised by online multiplayer titles.
Codere Online CEO Aviv Sher said the company wanted to expand its casino offering beyond established slot formats.
“We were among the first operators to recognize the potential of emerging formats such as crash games in Mexico, and we continue to look for innovative experiences that resonate with players,” he said.
“99 Royale represents a truly differentiated product that combines entertainment, competition and strategy in a unique way. We’re proud to be launching it from day one in Mexico and to continue bringing exciting new experiences to our customers.”
G Games chief commercial officer Helen Walton said Codere Online had recognised the product’s potential early in development.
“Codere Online recognized the potential of 99 Royale from the outset,” she said.
They have consistently demonstrated a strong ability to identify and successfully introduce innovative gaming formats to their players, making them an ideal launch partner for this groundbreaking product.”
The launch extends Codere Online’s existing casino portfolio, which the company says includes more than 2,000 games across its principal markets.
Mexico is one of the operator’s core Latin American markets, alongside its operations in Spain, Colombia, Panama and Argentina.
The release also highlights the growing interest among online casino suppliers in introducing multiplayer elements to slot games, traditionally designed around individual play.
