Welcome to our St Kilda v Port Adelaide betting tips, prediction and odds update ahead…
Welcome to our Carlton v Gold Coast betting tips and winner prediction for their AFL round 22 clash at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.
The Suns ($1.21) are heavy favourites with AFL betting sites, with the Blues ($4.45) season over after an awful campaign. The line for the Blues v Suns clash has been set at 28.5 points.
The Blues are coming off a hard-fought loss to Fremantle, where they pushed the home team for three quarters, but ultimately they could not stop the Dockers surge in the final term.
The Blues hierarchy have also announced coach Michael Voss would coach into 2026, giving him a reprieve for now, but we’ve seen how quickly things can change when form goes further south.
Carlton has lost young defender Harry O’Farrell (knee) and dropped Marc Pittonet, with Hudson O’Keeffe and Billy Wilson included.
The seventh-placed Sun can finish in the top four with two wins to close out the season, but a shock loss here and a tricky fixture against Port Adelaide in the final round, in what will be long term coach Ken Hinkley’s last match in charge, will have them on edge.
The Suns are fresh off an easy win over Richmond at home with Noah Anderson again shining, while Ben King lead the goalkickers with four majors. They have included Malcolm Rosas for Sam Flanders.

Our AFL betting expert has cast their eye over the markets and found some value Carlton v Gold Coast tips:
Humphrey is becoming the player many envisaged and if he emerges as a star in the finals the Suns can cause some damage. Fresh off three goals, we would expect Humphrey to get plenty of chances to kick 2+ goals at $1.96 with Australian betting sites.
The star Blue has not been kicking bags of goals this season, but this clash has the potential to be a shoot out at times. McKay, while inconsistent, is clearly their no.1 man down forward with Charlie Curnow in the stands.
The former Swan will play his 200th game against the Suns and has developed into a prolific midfielder for the Blues. There is chance Hewett will be given the job on either Rowell or Anderson, but that doesn’t stop him from getting the ball. He is paying $1.52 to get 25+ touches with PlayUp (Playup review).
Carlton will be kicking themselves after failing to finish off their game against Fremantle, and it might be hard to get up off the canvas again, with little to play for. Hopefully the good vibes generated by the announcement of Voss coaching into 2026 can see them remain competitive. However, it’s hard seeing them toppling a Suns team that is finals-bound for the first time, that has so many scoring options. The Suns can mount a late charge for top four and we can’t see coach Damien Hardwick not drumming this into his players. Our final Carlton v Gold Coast prediction? Suns by 41 points.
