Caesars Entertainment opens pre-registration in Alberta
Caesars Entertainment has opened pre-registration for players in Alberta, as the province moves closer to launching its regulated online gaming market.
Residents aged 21 and over can now sign up ahead of launch to access Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook and Horseshoe Online Casino once the market goes live. The rollout is being overseen by the Alberta iGaming Corporation.

Caesars Digital President Eric Hession said pre-registration marks an important early step as the company prepares to introduce its full suite of betting and casino products in the province.
“Opening pre-registration is an important first step that allows players to prepare for launch while we finalize our plans to bring our full trifecta of platforms online in Alberta,” he said.
“We welcome the province’s continued progress toward a regulated online market and appreciate the Alberta iGaming Corporation’s work to support operators through this process.”
The three platforms will offer a mix of online sports betting, slots, table games and live dealer experiences, supported by Caesars’ established digital infrastructure and responsible gaming tools.
Alberta’s upcoming launch represents a significant expansion of regulated iGaming in Canada, following the model established in Ontario. Players will be able to download the apps in advance, with full access activated once the market officially opens.
Alberta’s regulated online gambling market is expected to launch later in 2026, with operator licensing already underway, although regulators have yet to confirm an official go-live date.
Ontario’s gambling market has shown stready growth since its 2022 launch, with more Canadian provinces expected to regulate gambling in the coming months and years.
