Lionel Messi odds to leave Barcelona & next club betting
The biggest name in world football, Lionel Messi, is firming in the betting to leave Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Still reeling after the shock 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich, Barcelona FC is now likely to lose the greatest player in modern history, with Messi’s odds of leaving the Spanish giant having shortened from 9.00 at the start of the year into 2.30.
Various media outlets are reporting the 33-year-old is unhappy at the Nou Camp and is demanding to be moved on before the summer transfer window closes on October 5.
Top football bookmaker 888Sport has installed Manchester City’s odds of claiming Messi’s signature at $3.0, with the EPL powerhouse managed by former Barcelona top dog Pep Guardiola, who has close ties with Messi.
On the second line of who will sign Messi odds, is Inter Milan at 4.0, with English media reporting they have tabled a £235m deal over four years for him to the join the Italian giant.
Other teams seemingly in the mix to sign Messi include Bayern Munich and PSG with 888Sport setting the odds at around 11.00, while Chelsea is further back in the betting at 14.00.

Messi to leave Barcelona tip
We have a feeling the fans might tear down Nou Camp if Messi is allowed to leave, but the powerbrokers at Barcelona will not want to be seen to be allowing the tail to wag the dog. While Messi has shortened dramatically to leave Barcelona, so far there has been very little set in concrete, despite a feverish media’s speculation.
We think after a few more weeks of constant attention, Barcelona will make the changes required to keep their star man happy, which makes the 1.60 on offer for Messi to stay good money. Barca won’t let their dismal end to La Liga and their horrific Champions League slide, so expect major restructuring and Messi to stay.
Will Messi leave Barcelona best bet tip: Messi to stay, paying 1.60 with 888Sport.
