South Africa v England 2nd T20 tips, predictions & odds

Welcome to our betting tips article for the second T20 International between South Africa and Australia at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth, on Sunday, February 23.
The impressive Australians won the first match in blistering style to take a stranglehold on the three-match series.
It was a disappointing effort by the South Africans, who pushed England all the way in recent limited-overs series.
So we head to the famous St George’s Park, where only three previous T20 Internationals have been played. One of those was a washout but early forecasts say all clear for Sunday in PE.

South Africa coach Mark Boucher is hoping his team can rebound quickly or it could get ugly. The Australians had all facets of their game firing.
“It was a really bad loss tonight … 70 runs [to Australia] off the first six overs put us on the back foot straight away and that’s off some really poor bowling,” he told AAP after the first match.
Australia’s win included a rare hat-trick for left-arm spinner Ashton Agar. It was their eighth on the trot as they moved to No.1 in the ICC T20 rankings. They look formidable with the ICC T20 World Cup looming in Australia later this year.

South Africa v Aus 2nd T20 betting tips

We have trawled through the odds to come up with some value bets for the match at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth. Also read our guide to betting on cricket.

Mitchell Starc most wickets for Australia

Agar took the headlines with his match-winning figures, but one super delivery from Starc set the tone. Starc sent in-form South African captain Quinton de Kock’s middle peg flying. He should get even more assistance at a ground where paceman Dale Steyn took 4-9 in one match. Be warned Australia may rotate their pacemen, so be sire to check the line-ups closer to the match.

David Miller top scorer for South Africa

With the top order a little shaky and Temba Bavuma not certain to be back after a hamstring strain, we can see the Proteas middle order getting plenty of batting time. Miller was solid against England recently and looks value at around $6. If you are betting from South African check out the top ZA betting sites.

South Africa v Australia predictions – 2nd T20, Feb 23, 2020

It’s hard to imagine the Proteas turning around such a crushing defeat but T20 can be a fickle game. It can take only one superb individual batting or bowling performance to win a match. We have no doubt they will at least be a lot more competitive second time around. Good punting to all.
