iGaming drives strong March for gambling in Michigan
Michigan’s regulated online gambling market posted strong growth in March, with commercial and tribal operators reporting a combined $372.1 million in gross receipts from iGaming and online sports betting, up 18.9% month-on-month.
iGaming continued to drive performance, generating a record $322.1 million in gross receipts, surpassing the previous high set in December 2025. Online sports betting contributed $50.0 million, supported by a 26.1% increase in handle to $485.1 million.

Adjusted gross receipts reached $341.8 million, including $309.1 million from iGaming and $32.7 million from sports betting. Compared to February, iGaming AGR rose 17.9% while sports betting climbed 28.6%, with both segments also recording year-on-year gains.
The state collected $66.4 million in taxes and payments, with online casinos and iGaming accounting for the majority. Detroit’s three casinos contributed $16.1 million in local taxes, while tribal operators reported $8.2 million in payments.
As of March, 15 operators were authorised in Michigan’s online market with UK giant bet365 the latest to enter, with iGaming remaining the dominant revenue source.
