Cowboys v Eels betting tips for NRL round 10
Welcome to our North Queensland Cowboys v Parramatta Eels betting tips and winner prediction for their NRL round 10 clash at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Friday night.
The Cowboys are 1.36 favourites to defeat the Eels (3.10) with Australian betting sites, with several injuries set to disrupt the visitors preparation for this clash.
The 15th-placed Eels have won just three from nine matches and will be without their young star Ryley Smith, which means Tallyn Da Silva is likely to start at hooker. The Eels will also be without Will Penisini (groin) with coach Jason Ryles set to unleash Jordan Samrani in the centres.
The Cowboys lose back-rower Jeremiah Nanai in a major blow, with Sam McIntyre set to start in his place, with no other changes expected to the 13 that conquered Canterbury last start.
The Queensland-based team will have extra incentive with Jason Taumalolo set to overtake Johnathan Thurston as their most capped player, while young hooker Xavier Kerrisk could make his NRL debut in this clash.

Cowboys v Eels betting tips
The Cowboys deserve favouritism here and it’s hard seeing the Eels beating them at home. Our NRL betting expert has assessed the markets and found some value Cowboys v Eels betting tips:
Braidon Burns to score a try
The Cowboys winger has scored six tries so far this year, and has managed to cross the line in successive matches – against the Bulldogs and Sharks. Burns has been a weapon for the Cowboys out on a wing, and a regular source of their points. We think against a weakened Eels outfit his price of 1.50 with BetRight is too good to pass up.
Ronald Volkman to score a try
Fresh off a double, Volkman looks ready to emerge a a player for the Cowboys, after coming into the line-up in round 6. The five-eighth will attempt to create space from the halves, and like we saw last week in their loss, he has ability both scoring and assisting teammates. We’ll back him in at 4.20 to score a try here.
Cowboys v Eels prediction
North Queensland will edge out the Eels, but it should be an entertaining and high-scoring affair. We’re tempted by over 54.5 points for the match, but think we’ll just stick to the Cowboys to cover the 10.5 line. They just look more settled in attack and Volkman has developed into a strong playmaker around the halves. Our final Cowboys v Eels prediction? Cowboys 32-16.
