Gaming Corps enters Ontario via PowerPlay deal, eyes Alberta
Gaming Corps has strengthened its presence in Canada’s regulated online gambling market after partnering with PowerPlay, a deal that will see the developer’s portfolio launch in Ontario and position it for Alberta’s regulated market opening next month.
The agreement gives Gaming Corps immediate access to players through PowerPlay, one of Canada’s established online betting and casino brands, while also ensuring its games are available from day one when Alberta launches its regulated iGaming market in July.
PowerPlay, which launched in 2018, offers sports betting across more than 40 sports alongside a casino featuring over 1,200 games and a 24/7 live dealer experience.
Canadian players will gain access to several of Gaming Corps’ flagship online slots releases, including the popular 3 Pigs series featuring 3 Pigs of Olympus and the recently released 4 Gym Pigs: Porky Power. Football-themed titles Penalty Champion: Goals to Glory, Goals to Glory Football Fever and Goals to Glory Instant Blitz are also joining the platform ahead of a busy international football calendar.
The agreement also includes Banknote Blitz, an instant-win inspired slot featuring shifting Win Frames, prize collection mechanics and payouts of up to 5,000x a player’s stake.
Gaming Corps Chief Commercial Officer Graham Greensmith said Canada had become an increasingly important market for the supplier.
“Ontario has already shown what a well-structured regulated market can deliver, and Alberta now represents a significant next step,” Greensmith said.
PowerPlay Head of Casino Lauren Holder said Gaming Corps’ portfolio would strengthen the operator’s casino offering with content that complements major sporting events while supporting its expansion across regulated Canadian markets.
