NRL Monday: Bulldogs v Roosters, predictions & odds, round 5, 2020

The Canterbury-Sydney Roosters match-up was postponed from Sunday, June 14, to Monday, June 15, to head off a potential biosecurity issue.
Veteran Buldogs prop Aiden Tolman has been forced into a 14-day quarantine because a teacher at his child’s school tested positive to COVID-19. Tolman himself has been tested and cleared but still must stay away from the club during that period.
Dean Britt comes into the starting side for the Bulldogs, who kick-started their season with a thumping win against St George Illawarra last Monday.
The Bulldogs now face the two-time defending premiers though, and that is a whole new challenge.
The Roosters were ruthless in crushing Brisbane Broncos 59-0 in their latest match and have added superstar James Tedesco back into their line-up at fullback. They have lost ace prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves though with a back ailment, with Lindsay Collins his replacement.
The last time the Bulldogs and Roosters clashed, the Roosters won 20-12 late last season.

Bulldogs v Roosters free betting tips
Below our NRL betting expert has highlighted his free tips for the Bulldogs v Roosters clash.
Roosters -17.5 points/ match total over 42.5 at $3.05
We normally shy away from the big margins but with clear weather expected and the disruption in the Dogs’ camp we can see the Roosters really running up a big score. Take the $3.05 with leading bookmaker Unibet about the defending premiers winning by more than 17.5 points and the match total being over 42.5 points.
Angus Crichton to score a try at $2.85
The back-line star turned second-rower for the Roosters is due. If the Roosters are to run up a big score as we suspect, the is every chance the hard-running Crichton will get on the scoresheet.
Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs v Sydney Roosters prediction
Canterbury have had real problems scoring this season, so their best chance here is to turn this match into a low-scoring grind. But having lost the workhorse Aiden Tolman that could prove almost impossible. They are a developing team and come up against a team at close to full strength. We anticipate a comfortable Roosters win.
