Expanse Studios enters Estonia and Latvia’s regulated gambling markets
Expanse Studios has secured regulatory certification allowing its gaming content to be launched across Estonia and Latvia, marking another step in the company’s expansion into regulated European markets.
The studio, a subsidiary of Meridian Holdings Inc, received approval from UKAS-accredited testing laboratory Gaming Associates for two of its slot titles, Candy’s Bonanza and Leprechaun’s Wish.

The certification confirms the online slots comply with the technical standards required by Baltic gambling regulators, enabling them to be deployed on licensed operator platforms in both jurisdictions.
Expanse Studios said the approvals provide immediate access to Baltic operators and support its broader strategy of expanding into regulated European iGaming markets.
“This certification gives us a solid foundation for further growth in this part of Europe,” CEO of Expanse Studios Damjan Stamenkovic said.
“The approvals in the Baltics allow operators to go live more quickly, and they reflect the way we approach regulated markets. We focus on building compliant, reliable distribution capabilities that create real long-term value.”
Estonia and Latvia maintain structured regulatory frameworks that require independent technical testing before gaming content can be distributed through licensed gambling sites. Certification processes in European markets often take between eight and twelve months and involve significant compliance investment.
Industry data shows Estonia’s online gambling market was valued at roughly $452.5 million in 2025, while Latvia’s online sector generated €170.7 million, accounting for more than half of the country’s total gambling revenue.
