Spain is heavily favoured to win the Women’s World Cup in 2027, with bookmakers backing their No.1 ranking, recently confirmed by FIFA after a strong start to 2026.

The reigning world champions, having defeated England in the final in Australia in 2023, are priced at 5.00 with Betway.com (Betway review) to lift the trophy, reflecting their continued dominance at the top of the global standings.

The latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings, released on 21 April 2026, show Spain maintaining top spot, ahead of the USA and England, who sit second and third respectively.

The United States remain a major contender for next year’s Women’s World Cup at 6.00, with their Olympic pedigree and depth keeping them firmly in the title conversation, while England are also priced at 6.00 after cementing their place among the world’s elite.

Australia, currently ranked 15th, are priced at 13.00 and remain a dangerous outsider, particularly with home-region familiarity and a core of experienced internationals, including Chelseas star Sam Kerr, who recently returned to international duties after a knee injury.

Canada, ranked ninth, continue to hover just outside the top tier but remain competitive heading into qualification cycles.

New Zealand, ranked 33rd, have shown improvement in recent months, climbing the rankings following strong results in Oceania competition, but remain long shots for a deep run.

With rankings influencing seeding and perception, the latest update reinforces a clear gap between the leading contenders and the chasing pack ahead of Brazl 2027.

The Women’s World Cup is due to be played in Brazil from June 23 to July 25, 2027, with betting sites featuring outright winner odds now.
