Playson recruits from within as Oliinyk appointed CFO
Playson has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Kateryna Oliinyk as chief financial officer, promoting from within as the supplier continues its international expansion.
Oliinyk steps up from her previous role as deputy CFO, having joined the company in 2021 and progressed through a series of senior finance positions. During that time, she played a key role in improving financial controls, reporting processes and supporting growth across multiple regulated markets.

She brings more than a decade of experience in iGaming and professional services, including earlier audit roles at Ernst & Young, where she developed expertise in financial governance, risk and compliance.
“Assuming the role of CFO at Playson is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic financial planning and drive operational excellence,” Oliinyk said.

In her new role, Oliinyk will oversee Playson’s global finance function, including financial reporting, treasury, tax and strategic planning. She is also expected to play a central role in supporting expansion into new markets, particularly in Latin America, while enhancing financial systems and operational efficiency.
The promotion reflects Playson’s focus on internal development and comes as the supplier continues to scale its footprint across regulated jurisdictions, with financial discipline seen as key to sustaining its growth trajectory.
