Gold Coast v GWS betting tips and predictions
Welcome to our Gold Coast v GWS betting tips and winner prediction for their AFL round 8 clash at Peoples First Stadium on Sunday
The Suns are priced at 1.55 with Australian betting sites to defeat the Giants (2.55), despite their patchy form and the Sydney club’s outstanding win over much-improved North Melbourne last weekend.
The Suns-Giants line has been set at 10.5 points, while the over/under totals points mark has been set at a enticing 185.5.
Gold Coast has been forced into several changes to the team that was flogged by Hawthorn, with Brownlow Medal winner Matthew Rowell (injury), ruckman Jarrod Witts, Zeke Uwland (both rested) and Jed Walter and Jake Rogers, going out of the line-up.
The Suns have included Ned Moyle, Alex Davies, Joel Jeffrey, Sam Clohesy and Lachlan Gulbin, in a bid to arrest ther form slide, which has seen their premiership odds ballon out to 12.00.
GWS has included ruckman Kieren Briggs and Joe Fonti, with Nick Madden and Oliver Hannaford going out of the line-up.

Gold Coast v GWS betting tips
Our AFL betting expert has assessed the markets and found some value Gold Coast v GWS betting tips:
Noah Anderson 25+ possessions
Anderson battled hard for 31 possessions in the Suns big loss to Hawthorn last start and he will need to play well here, especially given Rowell’s absence. We think Anderson for 25+, while Touk Miller, who racked up 21 last week, should also reach the 25 mark.
Bailey Humphrey 2+ goals
Humphrey is likely to spend plenty of time in front of the ball, like we saw last week when he finished with two majors. With Rowell out, he is likely to be given a few extra midfield minutes, but ultimately is needed to kick goals. He’s paying 1.96 to kick 2+ on Sunday night. Recruit Jamarrah Ugle-Hagen is also the same price and worth considering, after a strong comeback match last week.
Over/under tip
The 187.5 mark at Neds.com.au looks a touch too high for this clash. We have seen the scoring dry up somewhat in recent weeks, despite a few exceptions. We’ve been running with the unders and will do again in this one.
Gold Coast v GWS prediction
The Suns have been far from convincing since their Petracca-inspired start to the year, but even with Rowell out, they would expect to win this game at home. The Giants are improving as they get more cattle back, but stopping Ben King and Petracca might be a bridge too far without the likes of Tom Green, Josh Kelly and Sam Taylor. Our final Suns v Giants predicton? Suns by 19 points.
