Candy Combo 2 now available at Games Global casinos
Games Global has expanded its growing Power Combo slot franchise with the launch of Candy Combo 2 Power Combo, developed alongside exclusive partner studio Slingshot Studios.
The new slots release builds on the success of the original Candy Combo Power Combo slot, introducing enhanced Link&Win gameplay, new bonus modifiers and up to 31 feature combinations. Set against a colourful candy-themed backdrop, the 5×3, 20-payline slot centres around collectible candy jar characters which trigger bonus mechanics during gameplay.
Slingshot Studios Creative Director Richard Vermaak said Candy Combo 2 Power Combo had continued the original game’s legacy, but improve the mechanics.
“Candy Combo 2 Power Combo™ builds on its predecessor – one of our most successful titles – by expanding how features interact within the Link&Win™ format,” he said.
“The addition of new jars and the ability to combine multiple mechanics introduces more variation across each round, while staying true to the core gameplay players recognise.”
New features include Adder, which boosts symbol values across the grid, and Extender, which unlocks a second reel set during the Link&Win™ round. Existing mechanics such as Connector multipliers, Collector symbols and jackpot features also return.
The launch continues Games Global’s strategy of scaling proven mechanics across its vast studio network following its acquisition of Microgaming’s former Quickfire distribution business in 2022.
Since the takeover, Games Global has continued Microgaming’s long-standing model of distributing casino games from smaller studios while maintaining major legacy brands such as Mega Moolah and Immortal Romance within its portfolio.
