Playtech expands iPoker into North America via FanDuel
Playtech has taken its iPoker network into North America for the first time after launching the platform exclusively on FanDuel Poker across four regulated jurisdictions.
The gambling technology giant announced that its iPoker software is now powering FanDuel’s online poker offering in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ontario, marking Playtech’s first poker partnership in the North American market.
The rollout represents a significant milestone for Playtech as it continues to expand its footprint across regulated gambling markets in the United States and Canada. The company described the launch as a major step in its broader North American growth strategy.

Playtech’s iPoker network is one of the industry’s longest-running online poker platforms and has historically been used by operators across Europe and other international regulated markets. The FanDuel agreement now brings that technology to North American players for the first time.
The move also strengthens FanDuel’s position in the online poker sector as the operator looks to leverage its extensive customer base across sports betting and iGaming products.
Playtech’s Chief Interactive Gaming Officer Marat Koss said the launch represented a defining moment for the company’s regional ambitions.

The launch adds another vertical to Playtech’s growing North American portfolio, where the company already supplies casino, live dealer and gaming technology solutions to a range of licensed operators.
North America has become one of the industry’s fastest-growing regulated online gambling regions in recent years, with states such as Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania establishing mature online gaming ecosystems, while Ontario continues to expand as Canada’s largest open iGaming market.
