Games Global release football-themed games for World Cup

Games Global has unveiled a portfolio of football-themed online casino games timed to coincide with the FIFA World Cup, as gambling operators prepare for a surge in player activity during the tournament in North America.

Games Global announced the rollout on Monday, with the new content launching as the World Cup gets underway across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Headlining the release is On Air Entertainment’s Fidget Football, a live casino game that recreates table football in a real-world studio environment. The game features 22 motorised players moving a ball across a miniature pitch while a live presenter provides commentary and players wager on markets including match winner, both teams to score and total goals.

The football-themed release forms part of a broader strategy by Games Global to capitalise on heightened player engagement during one of the world’s most-watched sporting events.

The live casino title will be joined by Kick Crash from Buck Stakes Entertainment, a football-inspired crash game where players must cash out before a virtual striker takes a shot at goal.

Games Global has also expanded the World Cup campaign into online slots, with several studios contributing football-themed releases.

Goal Bonanza from Nailed It! Games combines expanding wilds and jackpot features, while Goal Strike Fan Frenzy from Gameburger Studios incorporates the developer’s Drum and Epic Strike mechanics. Completing the lineup is Golazo Tiger Mystery Link&Win from Neko Games, which blends football themes with bingo-style gameplay aimed at Latin American markets.

The rollout comes as betting sites and casino operators worldwide look to leverage the increased traffic traditionally generated by major international football tournaments.

Dave Reynolds, Director of Games Strategy and Partner Management at Games Global, said football would dominate player attention throughout the coming weeks.

“Football will be at the centre of the summer,” Reynolds said.

“Working across our studio network, we’ve powered a portfolio of football-themed games spanning verticals from slots to crash – designed to engage players across platforms and sustain momentum well beyond the summer.”

Games Global said the portfolio was designed to help operators extend World Cup engagement beyond traditional sports betting markets by offering football-themed casino content across live casino, slots and crash gaming verticals.

The World Cup begins on June 11 and runs through July 19, with matches being played across host venues in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
