Turin set to host ATP Finals again in 2027
The ATP and the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP) have extended the ATP Finals’ stay in Turin through 2027, continuing one of the most successful host city partnerships in professional tennis.
The announcement ensures the season-ending championship will remain at the Inalpi Arena for at least another year after the 2026 edition, with the ATP citing record attendance, television audiences and commercial growth since the event first moved to Turin in 2021.
The extension follows a record-breaking 2025 tournament, which attracted 229,879 spectators, up nine per cent on the previous year. The singles final drew seven million viewers on Italian television, making it the most-watched tennis match in the country’s history, while ATP social media channels generated 218 million video views, a 67 per cent increase year-on-year.

Prize money also reached a record US$15.5 million in 2025, with home favourite Jannik Sinner collecting US$5.07 million after winning the title without dropping a match. Sinner defeated rival Carlos Alcaraz 7-6 , 7-5 in the singles final, while Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten lifted the doubles trophy with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski.
Tournament organisers have also unveiled several upgrades for the 2026 edition aimed at improving the experience for fans, players and commercial partners.
A new open-view practice court will be added to the Fan Village, allowing spectators to watch players prepare for matches, while seating capacity inside the Inalpi Arena will increase to more than 13,500. Four new courtside hospitality terraces and expanded premium hospitality areas will also be introduced.
ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi said the event had flourished since relocating to Turin.
“Our flagship event has gone from strength to strength in Turin, attracting global audiences, showcasing the sport’s best players and delivering a world-class fan experience,” he said.
“Over the past five years, Turin has become synonymous with the Nitto ATP Finals, helping to elevate the event to new heights. The record-breaking numbers we’ve seen across prize money, fan attendance and TV viewership are a testament to the dedication of FITP, the City of Turin, Nitto and all our event partners. We’re delighted to continue building on that momentum together.”
FITP President Angelo Binaghi said extending the partnership into 2027 was a natural decision given the tournament’s success.
“Turin has proven over the years to be an outstanding host for the Nitto ATP Finals. For this reason, we have decided to continue together in 2027,” Binaghi said.
“It is a choice of continuity and trust in a city, a region, and a network of institutions and partners that have worked with great passion and expertise, helping to make this event one of the most appreciated on the global tennis calendar.
“Confirming Turin for 2027 allows us to plan the future with ambition and to further strengthen the bond between this event and the territory that has embraced and developed it. The extraordinary results we are already seeing in ticket sales for the 2026 edition show that the Nitto ATP Finals have truly captured the hearts of Italian and international fans. It is the most encouraging sign to continue investing in a project that represents a valuable asset for Italian sport and the country as a whole.”
Nitto Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Hideo Takasaki said the tournament had grown into one of the world’s premier sporting events during its time in Turin.

While Turin is now confirmed as host through 2027, the ATP said venue arrangements for the remaining years of Nitto’s title sponsorship, which runs until 2030, are still being evaluated. Further announcements regarding the host city beyond 2027 will be made in due course.
Betting sites are yet to launch odds for the season-ending ATP finals, with these usually coming in the weeks prior to the event kicking off.
