OdiBets adds new casino games and sportsbook features
East African betting operator OdiBets has expanded its online casino and sportsbook offering after launching on QTech’s aggregation platform across Kenya and Tanzania, giving players access to a broader range of games and betting products.
The rollout brings hundreds of new titles to the Odibet platform, with a particular focus on crash games and lightweight casino content that has become increasingly popular across Africa. Unlike more demanding online casino games, lightweight titles are designed to perform smoothly on lower-spec Android devices and slower mobile networks while using less data.
That focus on accessibility could prove just as important as the new content itself, with both companies saying every game is tested on the kinds of devices and network speeds commonly used outside major cities to ensure a consistent playing experience.
Sports bettors are also set to benefit, with OdiBets adding multiple sportsbook feeds through QTech’s platform, allowing the operator to tailor betting markets and odds more closely to local customer demand in Kenya and Tanzania.
QTech Sales Manager for East Africa Agatha Wanjugu said the partnership combines OdiBets’ regional expertise with a broader range of casino games and sportsbook products.
“Partnering with OdiBets is a significant milestone for QTech as we continue strengthening our presence across East Africa,” she said.
“This partnership brings together OdiBets’s market expertise and QTech’s extensive iGaming and sportsbook offering to deliver a stronger, more competitive gaming experience for players across Kenya and Tanzania.
“We’re excited to support a partner with such an impressive footprint and ambitious growth plans. Being trusted to power such a respected brand is a testament to the strength of our platform, our team, and our commitment to helping operators grow through localized content, reliable technology, and the widest range of premium games in the market.”
Beyond the new games, QTech said its platform will help OdiBets personalise promotions and recommend content based on player preferences, while giving the operator greater flexibility to introduce new suppliers and betting products as demand evolves.
QTech’s Head of Region for Africa, Ekaterina Mayorova, said the company believes local knowledge remains the key to success in Africa’s fast-growing betting markets.
“Our commercial vision is to partner with market leaders to maximize market position by harnessing local awareness and expertise,” she said.
OdiBets Country Marketing Manager Benedict Murithi said the partnership would give customers access to more premium content while allowing the operator to react more quickly to changing player preferences.
“Our goal has always been to give our players the best possible entertainment experience, and partnering with QTech Games helps us do exactly that,” Murithi said.
“We’re excited about what this partnership means for OdiBets. It gives us access to more premium content, faster integrations, and the flexibility to respond to what our players want. We see QTech as a long-term partner that will support our growth and help us stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market.”
QTech is a fast-growing casino aggregation platform that can allow online casinos and betting sites to build out their portfolios quickly and efficiently.
