Mohegan Sun wins responsible gambling award

Mohegan Sun has been recognised for its responsible gambling initiatives, receiving the National Council on Problem Gambling’s (NCPG) 2026 Corporate People’s Choice Award for its “Winning Starts with Responsible Play” campaign.

The award was presented at the NCPG Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, recognising organisations that have made significant contributions to responsible gambling awareness, prevention, treatment and public education.

Mohegan Sun’s campaign featured responsible gaming messaging across more than 70 digital screens throughout the resort, hotel rooms, gaming areas and online channels, while also promoting self-exclusion programs, credit management tools and problem gambling support services. Team members also received dedicated responsible gaming training as part of the initiative.

Mohegan Sun President and General Manager Jeff Hamilton said the award was a testament to the hard work their staff.

“This recognition for our ‘Winning Starts with Responsible Play’ campaign is very meaningful and is a testament to how hard our thousands of Team Members work to help support and foster an environment of responsible play,” he said

Owned by Mohegan, Mohegan Sun is one of the largest integrated casino resorts in the United States, featuring two casinos, 1,600 hotel rooms, entertainment venues, convention facilities and an online gaming business operating in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Ontario.
