Pragmatic Play has expanded its premium live casino portfolio with two new gameplay features for Privé Lounge Blackjack, introducing additional strategic options and suspense for players using its VIP blackjack tables.

The supplier has rolled out Face Down Double Down and Split After Split, two enhancements designed to replicate the flexibility of high-end land-based blackjack while adding new decision-making opportunities for online players.

Face Down Double Down allows players to double their wager without revealing their final card until after the dealer has completed their hand, adding an extra layer of uncertainty to each round.

Meanwhile, Split After Split enables qualifying hands created from an initial split to be split again, giving players more strategic flexibility. Pragmatic Play said the feature also increases the game’s return-to-player (RTP) to 99.51%.

The additions build on the Double Down After Split feature introduced to Privé Lounge Blackjack last year, as the provider continues to expand the premium offering within its live casino portfolio.

Privé Lounge Blackjack is aimed at high-value players, featuring dedicated VIP hosts, experienced dealers and a range of personalised options, including dealer changes on request, extended playing sessions and shoe reshuffles.

Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, said the new features further elevate the supplier’s flagship blackjack experience.

“Privé Lounge Blackjack has delivered a truly premium experience from day one, combining personalised service with elegant gameplay,” McHugh said.

“Face Down Double Down adds a new level of suspense to every hand, while Split After Split gives players greater strategic freedom and improves their potential edge. Together, they deliver a richer blackjack experience while remaining true to the classic gameplay that players know and enjoy.”

The latest update forms part of Pragmatic Play’s broader multi-product strategy, with the iGaming company continuing to release up to eight new slot titles each month alongside its live casino, virtual sports and bingo offerings.

The launch comes as live casino suppliers continue to invest in premium and VIP-focused products, with casino sites increasingly looking to differentiate their online blackjack offerings through exclusive tables and enhanced gameplay mechanics.
