Evolution launches Disco Balls live casino game
Evolution has launched Disco Balls, a new live casino ball-drawing game that brings evolving multipliers of up to 10,000x into the main game and takes inspiration from the supplier’s Funky Time game show.
The new release has players betting on numbers from one to 20 before multipliers are randomly distributed across the grid. Players can back individual numbers or use Low, High, Even and Odd bets to cover multiple outcomes.
Once betting closes, the game’s Disco Cat character adds multipliers to the grid and assigns either a Disco or VIP Disco Bonus symbol to one of the numbers.

Balls are then drawn from the machine, with Step balls moving either the red or gold multiplier ladder higher. The ladders begin at 5x and can climb as high as 500x, while Step balls also trigger further appearances from the Disco Cat, creating opportunities for additional multipliers and bonus symbols.
The round ends when a Result ball is drawn, determining the winning number.
If that number has been assigned a bonus symbol, the multipliers accumulated during the main game carry into either the Disco or VIP Disco Bonus.
Both bonus games feature Mr Funky, a character familiar from Evolution’s Funky Time, moving across a virtual dance floor and collecting further multipliers until he falls from the board. The VIP version uses a larger dance floor, giving the character more space to continue moving.
Evolution Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter said the developer had deliberately focused on making the regular rounds more eventful rather than reserving the biggest features for the bonus game.
“At Evolution, we’re always thinking about how we can grow the gaming industry and contribute something the world has never seen before,” he said.
“With Disco Balls, our goal was to make the base game that you play every round just as fun as a bonus round.
“Today’s player is demanding increasingly more of everything, and this game brings the action.
“From the second bets close, players see the potential pays go higher and higher, and the tension is incredible. This game is like nothing we have done before, and we are very proud because we feel it really advances the industry with a whole new approach to game shows.”
Disco Balls continues Evolution’s expansion of its live game-show catalogue, but differs from wheel-based titles such as Funky Time by building the core game around numbered ball draws and multipliers that can evolve during the round.
The maximum total multiplier available in Disco Balls is 10,000x.
