Wazdan expands Danish reach with Danske Spil deal
Online casino games supplier Wazdan has signed a content distribution agreement with Danske Spil Casino, expanding the availability of its slots in Denmark’s regulated gambling market.
Announced on October 9, the agreement will bring a selection of Wazdan titles to Danske Spil Casino customers through an integration facilitated by EveryMatrix.
The initial content will include games from Wazdan’s Coins, Mighty Wild and Hot Slot series.
The agreement strengthens Wazdan’s relationship with one of Denmark’s most recognisable gambling operators and provides another distribution channel for its portfolio in a regulated European jurisdiction.
Danske Spil operates lottery, sports betting and online casino products in Denmark, with its casino offering competing against other locally licensed operators.
Wazdan Head of Account Management for Europe Magdalena Wojdyla said the agreement would help the supplier introduce its games to a wider Danish audience.
“Partnering with Danske Spil Casino is an important step in strengthening our presence in Denmark,” Wojdyla said.
She added that Danske Spil’s understanding of local players made it an attractive partner for the supplier.
The technical integration is being handled through EveryMatrix’s aggregation platform, allowing Danske Spil to access Wazdan’s content through an existing distribution network.
Simon Hoffmann Riis, Senior Partnerships and Insights Manager at Danske Spil Casino, said the supplier’s portfolio would complement the operator’s existing selection of online casino games.
He said the agreement formed part of Danske Spil’s continuing efforts to develop its casino offering with content suited to Danish customers.
EveryMatrix Senior Commercial Director Casino Marc Burroughes also welcomed the partnership, highlighting the role of aggregation technology in simplifying the introduction of new content.
Wazdan has been expanding its presence across regulated European and North American markets.
The company develops online slots featuring mechanics such as Hold the Jackpot, Cash Infinity and Volatility Levels, allowing players to select between different volatility settings where supported.
Its portfolio includes both traditional reel games and feature-driven titles built around jackpot and bonus mechanics.
Wazdan holds gambling software authorisations in multiple jurisdictions, including Malta and Great Britain, and supports licensed operators in Denmark.
The latest agreement follows a series of European distribution partnerships as the supplier continues expanding its network of regulated-market operators.
The companies have not disclosed financial terms or specified which individual games will be introduced first.
