ThrillTech enters Buenos Aires

Online gambling technology supplier ThrillTech has secured regulatory approval to provide its jackpot technology to licensed operators in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The company announced on November 5 that it had obtained supplier registration from Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA), the gambling regulator for the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

The approval allows locally licensed operators to integrate ThrillTech’s ThrillPots product, which adds optional jackpot side bets to existing casino games and sports betting products.

ThrillPots operates independently of the underlying games and their certified return-to-player percentages, with jackpot pools funded through voluntary player contributions.

The registration represents another step in ThrillTech’s expansion across regulated Latin American markets.

The supplier already holds licences, registrations or certifications in several jurisdictions, including Great Britain, Sweden, Greece, Malta, Ontario and Peru.

ThrillTech chief operating officer Amy Santos said the Buenos Aires approval would support the company’s regional expansion strategy.

“We’re delighted to bring ThrillPots to operators in Argentina, offering an innovative, player-funded side-bet jackpot solution that enhances player engagement and creates new revenue opportunities for operators.

“This achievement reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, compliant solutions that bring real value to both operators and their players.”

The approval applies specifically to Buenos Aires City rather than Argentina as a whole, where gambling regulation is administered at provincial and city level.

Licensed operators in the jurisdiction can now incorporate ThrillPots into their existing gaming platforms, subject to applicable product requirements.
