Welcome to our West Coast v Western Bulldogs betting tips, predictions and odds analysis ahead of their AFL round 15 clash at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
The Eagles have been installed a warm favourite for this bout, priced at $1.68, with the Bulldogs outsiders at $2.20. The line has been set at 5.5 but could blow out if the money keeps coming for the Eagles.
West Coast has enjoyed a bye but are coming off their best win of the 2021 AFL season, when they defeated the Tigers by four points at home. This win was highlighted by the return to form of Elliott Yeo, whose absence has hurt the Eagles.
They will be boosted further this week by the return of gun defender Jeremy McGovern and midfelder Tim Kelly, who join Brad Shepherd, Jack Petrucelle, Luke Shuey and Nathan Vardy as inclusions.

Our AFL betting expert has assessed the markets and found some value West Coast Eagles v Western Bulldogs tips:
With Yeo and Kelly back on deck the Eagles midfield begins to look a lot more ominous, which means teams are likely to let Gaff knock up possessions at will. While he doesn’t have the hurt factor of Yeo or Kelly, this bet is purely about touches and we think he’s the man to lead all comers this week. He is paying $1.97 to get over 30 possessions, which are odds you won’t see again anytime soon if he fires.
We saw on Thursday night when two good teams play each other, there is a lot of kicking long down the line, which is not conducive to scoring. The over/under mark for the Eagles v Dogs clash has been set at 151.5 and we’re happy to go with the unders here, give the intercept ability of both teams. This is paying $1.88 at Unibet Australia.
We have seen it all year, when good teams play each other often it is low-scoring and close, as they try and break down defence like a chess game. We have cashed in with the tribet market and we think this clash is another where the margin won’t blow out. This option is paying $1.67, or if you want more value make it either team by 19 or less at $2.
West Coast look a little bit too structured for the Western Bulldogs at this point, particularly if Naughton does not come up. The early season sheen on the Bulldogs has been eroded in recent weeks, but they will be boosted by injury-plagued Collingwood recruit Adam Treloar and Josh Dunkley later in the year. We just don’t think they have the depth to win this clash, but it won’t be a blowout. Our final West Coast v Western Bulldogs prediction? Eagles by 11 points.
