Emerging slots developer Peter & Sons wins top awards
Peter & Sons has won four awards at the 2026 Malta’s iGaming Excellence Awards, held on June 25 at The Xara Lodge in Rabat, Malta.
The online slot developer was recognised in four categories: Best Gaming & New Slots Developer of the Year, Best Online Slots & RNG Games, Best Start-Up Company of the Year, and Best Gaming Casino Supplier.
The awards follow a strong year for Peter & Sons, with the studio continuing to expand across regulated markets while releasing a series of character-led online slots.
Recent titles from the company include Roadquake, The Soapranos, Cyber Runner, Ginger Wins and Big Bounty Bandits. These casino games reflect the studio’s focus on bold artwork, unusual characters and mechanics built around each release rather than copied from one title to the next.
Peter & Sons has become one of the more recognisable new-generation slot studios, with its games often standing out for their hand-drawn style and offbeat themes.
The four awards mark another step forward for the company as it looks to grow its presence with casino operators and players in regulated gambling markets.
Other notable winners on the night included BETBY, which picked up five awards including Best Sportsbook Provider of the Year, Best Sportsbook Innovation of the Year and Best Esports Supplier of the Year.
Wazdan was also among the prominent companies recognised, earning nominations in major categories including Best Online Gaming Product and Best Game CEO of the Year. CT Interactive was named Best Game Supplier of the Year, while Instacoins collected two travel-related awards for its booking and concierge platforms.
