Nevada casinos reported strong April revenue growth, with statewide gaming revenue climbing more than five per cent year-on-year to almost US$1.3 billion as the Las Vegas Strip continued to drive growth.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported nonrestricted gaming licensees generated US$1.299 billion in gaming win during April 2026, up 5.29% from the US$1.235 billion recorded in April 2025.

The Las Vegas Strip remained the state’s largest market, producing US$689.4 million in gaming win, a 6.58% increase compared to the same month last year. Downtown Las Vegas also reported modest growth, while Reno recorded a strong 11.81% rise to US$72.3 million.

Across the first 10 months of Nevada’s 2025/26 fiscal year, statewide gaming win increased 2.29% to more than US$13.3 billion.

The revenue growth also delivered a significant boost to state coffers. Nevada collected US$78.4 million in percentage fees during May, based on April gaming activity, representing a 15.19% increase from the US$68 million collected a year earlier.

Fiscal year-to-date percentage fee collections have reached US$947.1 million, up 3.94% compared to the previous fiscal year, highlighting the continued strength of Nevada’s gaming sector despite broader economic uncertainty.
