NRL round 9 odds update and fixture

NRL round 11: Raiders v Storm betting tips

Round 9 of the NRL kicks off on Thursday night with a clash between the disappointing Cowboys and Sydney Roosters in Townsville.

Perhaps a return to home territory will help lift the Cowboys but they were dismal last round in a 42-4 walloping by rampant Parramatta.

The clear match of the round in NRL round nine is the Saturday night return bout between Canberra and Melbourne Storm at GIO Stadium in Canberra.

The teams met in the first round back after the COVID-19 hiatus in Melbourne and the Raiders shocked the home team 22-6.

Canberra also defeated the Storm 12-10 in last year’s final series so Craig Bellamy’s Storm team has a score to settle. The match is also crucial looking ahead with the Storm in third place and the Raiders in sixth after finally returning to the winner’s list last weekend against the Dragons.

Another mouthwatering match-up is the Newcastle Knights v Parramatta on Sunday afternoon at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.

NRL 2020 premiership betting update

In the latest 2020 NRL premiership market from Unibet, the status quo has been maintained despite the Sydney Roosters’ loss in the magnificent match against Melbourne Storm.

There is a clear top five in premiership betting with the Roosters, Eels, Storm, Raiders and Panthers the bunch of five favoured to fight it out for the title.

Seemingly only Newcastle, Manly and South Sydney are capable of making a run at the title from outside the big five of 2020.
