Play’n GO launches in Alberta with more than 10 online casinos
Play’n GO has strengthened its North American footprint after launching its portfolio of online casino games in Alberta, becoming one of the first major suppliers to go live as the Canadian province’s newly regulated iGaming market opens.
The Swedish gaming giant confirmed its content is now available with more than 10 licensed operators, giving Alberta players access to a range of its most popular titles from the first day of regulated online gambling.

The expansion marks Play’n GO’s third regulated Canadian province, following earlier launches in Ontario and Québec, and continues the supplier’s strategy of prioritising regulated markets over grey-market jurisdictions.
By securing agreements with more than 10 operators at launch, Play’n GO has quickly established a significant presence in one of North America’s newest regulated iGaming markets.
The company said the rollout builds on its experience working alongside regulators and operators to deliver compliant gaming content while supporting the long-term sustainability of newly opened markets.
Play’n GO’s portfolio includes some of the industry’s best online slots, including Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness, Moon Princess and Fire Joker, alongside a growing catalogue of more than 400 titles.
New Market Entry Lead Esteban Perez said entering Alberta with a broad operator network highlighted the company’s long-term regulatory strategy.
“Entering Alberta with more than 10 operators on day one of regulation is a significant milestone for Play’n GO and a testament to the strength of our regulated market strategy,” Perez said.
“Canada continues to be a key focus for us, and expanding into our third province reflects both the demand for our content and the strength of our partnerships with licensed operators.
“We are proud to support Alberta’s regulated market with a portfolio that prioritises entertainment, compliance and long-term sustainability.”
Alberta officially opened its commercial regulated online gambling market this week, following Ontario as Canada’s second province to adopt an open licensing model for private operators and suppliers. The launch has attracted many of the world’s biggest iGaming companies, with suppliers racing to secure operator partnerships ahead of the market opening.
