Pragmatic Play explains new slot mechanic Collect & Win
Pragmatic Play has expanded its casino promotional tools with the launch of Collect & Win, a new gamification feature allowing players to collect items across participating slots and live casino games to unlock rewards.
The new mechanic forms part of Pragmatic Play’s Enhance promotional suite and introduces two collection formats alongside the provider’s existing Wheel Drops feature.
Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play Sharon McHugh said the launch was designed to give gambling sites another way to reward players across the supplier’s casino portfolio.
“We’re constantly looking at ways we can refine the casino experience, and Enhance is an area where we’re able to drive interesting mechanics that reward engaged players in fresh and unique ways,” she said.
“Collect & Win is the latest addition to that, providing operators with a highly customisable gamification layer that can differentiate their offering of leading Pragmatic Play titles.”
The first new format, Text Drops, awards players words, letters or numbers that can be collected to complete a predetermined set.
Card Drops instead distributes virtual playing cards, with players attempting to assemble the required hand.
Operators can customise the theme of Collect & Win promotions, the number of items players need to collect and the method through which prizes are awarded.
Pragmatic Play has also added a Pick A Chest feature to the system. Once players have collected the required number of words, cards or Wheel Drops pieces, they can select one of nine virtual chests to reveal their reward.
The iGaming supplier said Collect & Win is being made available across its latest and most popular slot and live casino games and will be rolled out globally through its operator network.
The addition expands an Enhance platform already used to run promotional features across Pragmatic Play games, giving operators the ability to add engagement and reward mechanics without altering the underlying casino title.
Pragmatic Play currently produces up to eight new slot games each month and is regulated in many different jurisdictions including the United Kingdom, Malta, Spain and Italy.
