Strikers v Scorchers betting tips, prediction & odds; BBL Match 21 Preview
Welcome to our Adelaide Strikers v Perth Scorchers betting tips, winner prediction and odds analysis for Game 21 of the 2020-21 Big Bash League at Adelaide Oval on Thursday, December 31.
These two teams clashed on Monday night at the same venue and the Strikers’ win left the Perth franchise as the only BBL team without a win so far this season.
Rashid Khan, who was considered unlikely to play, emerged as man of the match with a quickfire 29 and then 2-18 off three overs as the Scorchers’ batting fell apart. The pleasing aspect for the Strikers was that each of the five bowlers they used took two wickets.
It’s crisis time for the highly rated Scorchers, as another loss will all but end their chances of finishing among the top few teams. They desperately need runs from English stars Jason Roy and all-rounder Liam Livingstone, who played their first games for the season on Monday night and should be better with a game under their belts.
The leading international bookies think the Strikers will prevail as they are priced at $1.81, with $2 available about the Scorchers.
Roy played his usual cameo role with 21 from just 11 balls on Monday as the Scorchers chased 165 but they need more than that from the decorated opening batsman. They also need captain Mitchell Marsh to stand up when the heat is on.
The Scorchers bowling line-up has been acceptable but they have not been able to string together too many meaningful batting partnerships.
Read on for our free Strikers v Scorchers tips ahead of their T20 clash in Adelaide on Wednesday, December 31.

Strikers v Scorchers betting tips
Our cricket tipsters have examined the odds and found several Strikers v Scorchers tips for Thursday’s BBL clash.
Dan Worrall leading wicket-taker for Strikers
We tipped Worrall in the same category for Monday night’s game and he did not let anyone down, taking two wickets. Unfortunately for us, he was one of five players to do the same! Still, Worrall again bowled superbly and the openers for the Scorchers always give the bowlers a chance with their early aggression.
Scorchers to win at $2
We will roll the dice on the Perth side as this is a match they simple have to win. There is too much talent in this side to simply roll over again. The Strikers are travelling well, and they are on home turf, but the Scorchers are well overdue to click into gear.
Strikers v Scorchers prediction 31/12/2020
This should be an entertaining clash with such luminaries as Jason Roy, Rashid Khan and Alex Carey on display. It should be a great contest for the neutral fan. The last four matches between these teams at this ground have been won by the outsiders in betting and we think that streak will continue. Our final Strikers v Scorchers prediction: Scorchers in a thriller..
