Super Rugby Aotearoa week eight odds and fixture

The Super Rugby Aotearoa odds have been released for week eight of the 2020 season.

On Saturday the Crusaders will go into their clash against the Chiefs at FMG Stadium as a hot favourite, with the outsiders claiming an unwanted record last Sunday.

The Chiefs 21–17 defeat at the hands of the Blues was their seventh successive loss, a club record that eclipses six game losing streaks in the 1998-99 and 2008-09 seasons.

The Crusaders meanwhile have a game in hand and sit two points clear at the top of the Super Rugby NZ ladder, despite losing their first game to the Hurricanes 32-34 in a thriller at Orangetheory Stadium.

The rugby bookmakers have priced the Crusaders at $1.29 to defeat the Chiefs, who are not getting much support at $3.75.

On Sunday, the Highlanders will clash with the Blues, who have well and truly established themselves as a title threat.

The Highlanders are coming off the bye but were far from convincing in a narrow win over the Chiefs a fortnight ago, but are likely to regain several players from injury layoffs.

The Blues will be the hot favourite at kickoff with rugby betting sites pricing them around the $2.50 mark to cause an upset, while the Blues are paying $1.56.
