Two Quebec players hit $2.65m in IGT Powerbucks jackpots
Two online casino players in Quebec collected more than C$2.65 million in combined jackpots from IGT’s Powerbucks network during August.
The biggest win came on August 7, when a player landed a C$1,560,863.21 jackpot playing Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis online.
Nine days later, another Quebec player won C$1,095,227.78 playing Powerbucks Blackjack.
The two progressive jackpots totalled C$2,656,090.99, and mark the latest big casino winners in the Canadian province via online casinos.
Powerbucks launched in Canada in 2016 and was billed by IGT as the world’s first omnichannel jackpot system, allowing progressive prize pools to be shared across participating land-based, mobile and online games.
IGT said the network has now produced more than 80 jackpots worth at least C$1 million since its Canadian debut.
Powerbucks is available in participating Canadian jurisdictions, with IGT’s progressive network linking eligible casino games to create jackpots capable of climbing beyond C$1 million.
