Western Bulldogs v Melbourne betting tips - AFL round 11 2026

Welcome to our Western Bulldogs v Melbourne betting tips and winner prediction for their AFL round 11 clash at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

The Bulldogs (2.07) are outsiders against surprise packets Melbourne (1.79) with form and injuries putting their season in jeopardy.

The Bulldogs-Demons line has been set at 4.5 points, while the over/under points total is at a high 190.5 points.

The Western Bulldogs were 12-point losers to Carlton in their last match, but did defeat Port Adelaide a fortnight ago, but injuries are mounting.

With the likes of gun midfielder Tom Liberatore and Tim English already injured, the Bulldogs were forced into a host of changes again as they look for a winning formula.

This week Bailey Williams has gone down, with Jedd Busslinger, Sam Davidson, Oskar Baker and Louis Emmett also going out of the line-up. They have been boosted by Luke Cleary, James O’Donnell, Lachie Jaques, Jordan Croft and Adam Treloar.

The in-form Demons have beaten Hawthorn and West Coast in the last fortnight, with their electric high-scoring style even knocking off Brisbane earlier in the season.

The Demons have opted to rest Latrelle Pickett for this clash, with Caleb Windsor his replacement.

Bulldogs v Melbourne betting tips

WGL’s AFL betting expert has assessed the markets and found some value Bulldogs v Melbourne tips:

Ryley Sanders 25+ possessions

The young Bulldog has been super-consistent even as their season slips away. He’s also still offering great value at 1.88 to reach 25+ possessions. The query this week is the return of Adam Treloar into the Bulldogs midfield, will Sanders play less through there? We actually think wounded Marcus Bontempelli might be the man who goes forward, so we are gonna stick with Sanders.

Jack Steele 25+ possessions

Steele has been the mainstay of the Demons midfield and has notched up 25+ possessions in his last two games. We think the 2.15 on offer with Neds Australia is too good to pass up.

Kysaiah Picket 2+ goals

It would take a brave man to bet against Kysaiah Pickett having a say in Sir Doug Nicholls Round, celebrating the feats of indidgenous AFL players, and this guy is as good as they come. There is also some nice value to kick 2+ at 2.00 or 3+ at 4.50.

Another indigenous talent, Bulldogs forward Arthur Jones is fast, elusive and seemingly built for Marvel Stadium. We’ve got a feeling you won’t get the 3.20 on offer for him to kick 2+ goals for many more matches.

Western Bulldogs v Melbourne betting tips

We have been waiting for the Demons bubble to burst, but they just keep winning. Despite this we’re leaning towards the Dogs to win here, with their team looking a lot more settled with James O’Donnell into the backline stiffening them up. It will also allow Rory Lobb more freedom in the ruck and he will need to play well to curb Max Gawn. In a match we mark around even money, we’ll take the 2.15 on offer for a Dogs win. Our final Western Bulldogs v Melbourne prediction? Dogs by 11 points.
